Pozos de Garrigos is amusing because it has set of water wells which are antique. Their origin is of Islamic era of Spain. They are restored well in the 19th century by Antonio Garrigos. The basic purpose of these wells was to act as water storage means for people living in the town. The water was mainly coming from the mountains. This museum is worth seeing along with other museums of the Alicante city.
