Ice hockey is a great sport. First it was only played in the winter season and than with the help of advance technologies it is possible to play hockey in other season too by creating artificial ice hockey ground. But there are many things which we need to cover and take care before we play which are as follows:-

Perfect kit: - We need perfect and full equipment kit to play ice hockey. For e.g.:- when we go to school for learning or go to an examination hall to give our exams than we are always well prepared with are school bag and geometry box so that we can give our best . So, same should while playing ice hockey. The kit should contain helmet, skates, gloves, shin guards, first aid box and hockey stick.

Dedication: - One has rightly said that climb high, climb far, your goal the sky, your aim the star. From these lines it is clear that the player should be dedicated one because without dedication one can't achieve his / her goal easily. The dedication should be like Mr. Abraham Lincoln who has never gave up in his politics career when he got defeated fourteen times but in spite of loosing his patience he again participated in the election and became president of U.S.A. Ice hockey player should not feel sad after he looses match but should learn and practice more so that he can give his best one.

Hire good Coach: - If we really want to be a perfect in this game than we need perfect coach who can guide us while playing the game. A good coach should have following qualities in him like impressive personality; he could easily motivate his players, should have vast knowledge, should have good body, should have ability to handle the media and should have ability to take immediate decision.

Take a look upon past matches too :- We all know that to err is human and humans learns well after he commit mistakes. So, it is the duty of coach and his players to track the past matches so that he can calculate and judge which team is using which technique while playing and what extra efforts they have to correct and put in their game while playing with opposite team.

Good and Balanced Diet :- As we all are familiar with the concept that a balance diet is must to live healthy and to perform any task with full energy. If we are taking a good diet with consists of all essential components like carbohydrates, fats ,proteins, vitamins, minerals, iron than ultimately this will increase our performance and we will live a healthy sports life.
