It's happening already. The weather is cooling down in many parts of the country and shorts and tees are giving way to warmer clothing. Clothing stores across the country are geared up to provide kids with all of their back to school clothes and shoppers are preparing to stock up on this year's fashions.

As the leaves change colors, so do the clothes - and I'm not just talking about that whole no white after Labor Day thing, either. Bold, vibrant colors such as mustard yellow, emerald green, cobalt blue and ruby red are going to be big this year. If you want to stay in style then you'll need to head out and grab at least some wardrobe items in these colors.

Mustard yellow clothes for girls or guys can seem a bit daring to many, but the warm tones of the color can brighten up any one's day during the gloom of fall and winter. And this hue will certainly attract attention if you're looking to make an entrance. Just beware that it likely won't stay in vogue for too long, so wear it while you can.

Next up is the more familiar cobalt blue, which picked up major popularity back in the spring and looks to be sticking it out for the long haul. This bold color will remain especially popular throughout the season when it comes to shoes, coats and sleeveless tops. Just head down to the mall and you'll be sure to find plenty of it at popular clothing stores.

Businesses and households are trying to go green, so why not clothing too? Emerald green is no longer solely for cities with yellow brick roads leading up to them, it is undoubtedly going to be a hot clothing shade this fall.

The fashion scene is getting painted red this fall, so get ready to see it all over the place. Deep rubies will be particularly big. Don't be afraid to go with coats or other wardrobe pieces in this color, as it is going to make a big appearance in the accessory category throughout autumn.

Now get out there and make use of these color suggestions... just not all at the same time!
