The plight of the Afghanistan people has been one of despair, The country has been ripped apart and put back together so many times in history, From Alexander The Great the British the Soviet occupation and the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, They have endured their Women being abused, Husbands and Fathers being tortured and killed, instilling fear into their Children.

The face of uncertainty not knowing what the future will bring, A country that has been fueled by corruption greed and Religious Fanatic's for opium to fund there own wars and terror throughout the world, A country that was once looked upon for it's strategic value not for it's commodity.

The face of anger when all you have known is gone your only son wandered into a minefield and was killed your wife was killed by the Taliban because she refused to wear a burka, And all the people that you ever consider friends are gone either killed by the Taliban or a suicide bomber.

Although this face possesses many meanings and has been the most sought after shot in every major conflict since WW1 it is the "The Face Of War"what does it mean to you?
