In the past, if any family or relatives could not make it to a wedding or special event, they had to watch a recorded video, otherwise, too bad.  I guess you just had to be there, but you could not.

Now a company based in Duluth developed a novel idea.  They took wedding videographers and using their DV cameras, interfaced them with a browser based broadcast console.  These cameras could record any event onto the broadcast console as a flash video but alot more.

A WebTV4U Tech would also install one of their customizable streaming flash video players onto the couple's wedding website, one that was configured to receive video streams from their broadcast console.

Now when the wedding takes place, the videographers are both recording this event in flash but are also streaming the wedding event out to the couple's wedding website as live TV to their streaming video player.  All of the relatives that could not travel out to the wedding could instead relax in front of their computer and watch the wedding event as if they were watching it on cable TV.

But this is WebTV, not cable TV.  All of the relatives had received beforehand a link which they clicked on that loaded their web browser and flash video player and started up a streaming video session on the video player.  Windows users commonly use Windows Media Player with a flash plugin or QuickTime or Real Player to play the streaming video.

Being WebTV, there are no artificial or geographical boundaries like Cable TV.  This live broadcast can be seen across the North American Continent or overseas, across the globe, except countries like China that limit internet use.  If they had a son in Iraq, he could watch on any computer with broadband access.  Now even weddings could become a global event.

This technology is being offered by WebTV4U, LLC in Duluth, GA, a WebTV integrator.  WebTV4U provides the full solution like WebTV studio design, installation, support, training, and can sublease IPTV channels or rent supported players (like in weddings) plus offer T-1 data services for the camera support for a WebTV studio.

Wedding videography is a new application for WebTV.  The same package could be used to broadcast any event on Live WebTV, even remote locations using a Clear 4G modem on the connected laptop.  The coverage area for 4G modems in the Atlanta area is excellent, one of the best in the USA. WebTV4U is also a Clear 4G/3G device dealer.
