For many people when embarking on a fat loss journey, just getting to the gym is a hard enough task. When it's not your job, like myself, or if you don't love it yet, or it's not a habit, then just thinking about it could make you stay up at night. The whole feeling of being in a gym for some can be very over whelming. But it does not have to be. Here are some fool proof ways that can help you stay accountable.

Tip 1: Buy 5 workout outfits and leave them next to your bed. This one is very psychological. By purchasing new workout clothes, you are sub consciously making a commitment to your new fat loss journey. It will also be addicting to buy new clothes each time you lose weight. Yes it will be pricey, but your health has no price. By leaving your workout clothes for the day next to your bed so you see them when you go to sleep and wake up also has a positive effect. By doing this, you are constantly reminding yourself that you have to get to the gym and that you cannot skip.

Tip 2: Get a buddy. A buddy system is not only good for school children when going on field trips. By having a friend to go to the gym with you, you are making a promise to each other and to keep each other accountable to your specific goals. For example, if one day you don't feel like getting to the gym, you will still go because you do not want to let your buddy down.

Tip 3: Participate in a forum. By announcing your journey, your goals and taking pictures and posting them on a forum. You again are keeping yourself accountable to your actions. When possibly hundreds or maybe even thousands of people are following your journey, you definitely don't want to let them down because if you do, you will feel embarrassed.
