Goshen’s Sherry Lemonade

Goshen’s sherry lemonade is a wonderful way to enjoy a hot summer day. This wonderful twist on the classic lemonade recipe is very refreshing. Goshen’s sherry lemonade is a refreshingly hard lemonade that is a wonderful southern treat. This is an easy recipe to prepare. Goshen’s sherry lemonade is a wonderful southern treat that puts a spin on old fashion lemonade.

Serves 4

Ingredients:

·         3 lemons cut into quarters.

·         4 tablespoons(about 57 grams) of sugar

·         2 cups(about 500 milliliters) of sherry

·         8 seedless cherries

·         2 tablespoons(about 30 milliliters) triple sec

·         Soda water

Utensils:

·         Metal drink shaker

·         Wooden spoon

Directions:

Step 1: The first step in Goshen’s sherry lemonade is to combine 3 of the lemon wedges and 2 cherries with 1 tablespoon of the sugar in a pint glass and muddle using a wooden spoon. Add 1 cup of ice, ½ cup of sherry, and 1 ½ teaspoons of triple sec. Cover the pint glass with the bottom half of the metal shaker and shake enthusiastically for about 30 seconds.

Step 2: The next step in Goshen’s sherry lemonade is to pour the mixture into a highball glass and top with a splash of soda water. Then make 3 more cocktails in the same fashion.
