Goshen's Southern Style Berrylicious BBQ Chicken Wings

Goshen's southern style berrylicious BBQ wings recipe is a southern twist on a classic delight. As with all of Goshen's chicken recipes marinating the wings the night before is suggested however not required for this southern treat. (Refer to Goshen's southern style baked chicken recipes for marinating instructions) Goshen's southern style berrylicious BBQ wings will take around 150 to -180 minutes from start to completion.  (A quick tip for Goshen's southern style berrylicious BBQ wings if the cranberry sauce is a little to tart and you want something a little sweeter add a few pinches of sugar to sweeten the recipe right up)

Ingredients:

·   18 chicken wings

·   1 can of jellied cranberry sauce

·  1 ½ teaspoons(7 milliliters) of packed brown sugar

·  1 teaspoon(5 milliliters) of prepared mustard

·  1 teaspoon(5 milliliters) of Worcestershire sauce

·  A pinch of pepper

Step 1: In a medium saucepan add the 1 can of jellied cranberry sauce, packed brown sugar, prepared mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and pinch of pepper. Put the saucepan with the ingredients on the burner and turn the stove top on lowest heat. Turn the heat up slowly until it reaches a nice simmering point and mix thoroughly and consistently the whole time making sure the sauce is smooth. Making sure the sauce is smooth and not overcooked is a key to Goshen's southern style berrylicious BBQ wings.

Step 2: Allow the sauce to cool. While the sauce is cooling pull out the wings and put them in a bowl. After the sauce is cooled pour over the wings and cover with aluminum foil. Put the wings in the refrigerator for 120-180 minutes the longer the wings are in refrigerator the better the wings will taste.

Step 3: Pull the chicken out of the refrigerator and either start up the grill or preheat the oven. If you are planning on baking the chicken the oven temperature needs to be 350 degrees (175 Celsius) and cooked 30-40 minutes depending on the stove. Remember to put aluminum foil on the bottom of the pan you plan to cook the chicken on. For grilling you will want the grill temperature around 350 degrees (175 Celsius) and put the chicken directly on grill and cook until desired and the juices run clear from the chicken. After you pull the chicken out of the oven or grill Goshen's southern style berrylicious BBQ chicken is ready to enjoy.
