Goshen’s Broccoli and Penne Pasta

Goshen's broccoli and penne pasta is a wonderful pasta dish that is quick and easy to make. This dish should only take about 30 minutes or so to prepare. Goshen's broccoli and penne pasta is a wonderful veggie dish for though that cannot eat meat. For those that can add your meat or poultry of choice to the dish. (I would recommend some chopped precooked bacon) Goshen's broccoli and penne pasta is a wonderful meal to spice up your day from the ordinary.

Serves 4

Ingredients:

· 4 cups(about 454 grams) of chopped broccoli (bit sized)

· 2 tablespoons(about 30 milliliters) of stock

· 4 tablespoons(about 60 milliliters) of plain yogurt

· 2 tablespoons(about 30 grams) of toasted cashews (optional if you're going to add meat or poultry)

· 12 ounces(about 340 grams) of penne pasta

· 1 crushed clove of garlic

· ½ teaspoon(2 milliliters) of red pepper, or chili sauce.(optional depending on how spicy you want the meal)

· Garlic salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Step 1: The first step in Goshen's broccoli and penne pasta is to add the penne pasta to a large pot of boiling water that has been lightly salted. Return the water to a boil and place the broccoli in a steamer basket over top of the pot. Cover and cook the pasta and steam the broccoli for 8-12 minutes or until both are tender and drain.

Step 2: The next step in Goshen's broccoli and penne pasta is heat the stock and add the crushed garlic in a pan. (Add the red pepper or chili sauce also if desired) and stir over a low heat for 3 minutes. Stir in the broccoli, pasta, and yogurt with the mixture in the pan.

(Also add the precooked meat or poultry at this point if desired. I would recommend adding precooked bacon bits into this dish it tastes wonderful.) Adjust the seasoning to taste and sprinkle in the cashews. Then you are ready to enjoy Goshen's broccoli and penne pasta.
