Whether working as a PR agent, as a designer, or in fashion magazines - these jobs really look good in every sense of the word. But again, when it comes to the business aspect of it, it is not always glitz and glamour. For an aspiring applicant, a good internship can let you climb the ladder in this industry. Getting noticed even in the application process is important. Here are some ways on how and where you can get leads for that fashion magazine internship.

- Walk-in applications - Walk with confidence to the head office of your favorite fashion magazines and submit your application. While there are some industries or companies that do not accept walk-in applications, most magazines accept them as most are constantly hiring new interns whether as addition or replacement. Walk-in applications usually gets the first interview schedules because even before they check their email for resumes or go online, walk-in resumes are screened immediately, giving you more chances to snatch that internship.

- Online applications - Especially if the magazine's office is far from your place, you can conveniently submit your application online. While walk-in are preferred, there are some who don't want to entertain applications in the office and will just invite candidates only upon short-listing them.

- Through your school - The career office in your school can open doors for you in the fashion industry. Sometimes, it is the magazine itself that taps schools to get them the interns. By showing your effort and trying all means possible to get an internship, it will show that you are proactive, resourceful, and persistent in getting what you want - some traits that are needed to excel in the industry.
