There are some common problems that make your car engine temperature levels rise.

I will try to give the solutions to each of your problem.

  1. If your engine temperature gauge keeps rising during rush – hour traffic.

-     Do not panic. Accelerate a little to allow your car to get rid of some engine   

       heat.

-    Turn on the heater to maximum, which will draw heat from the engine.

-     If still your car temperature gauge is still in danger zone, pull to the side of the    

       road and let the motor car engine cool.

-      Add coolant like water and check if there is any coolant leaking.

            -      Since overheating of a car engine is unusual. Have your cooling system

                    Checked  by driving to the nearest service station while keeping an eye on  

                    the  temperature gauge

              -      The problem could be anything from clogged radiator core to low engine    

                      Coolant to an inoperable radiator fan or broken belt. 

  1. If your car oil pressure light comes on. Your car might be burning / using oil.

-         Pull over and call for help from a mechanic otherwise your car engine will be destroyed.

-         Make sure you check for your oil level each time you fuel.

-         Check for coolant leak or broken belt.

-         If car starts to overheat, switch off the air conditioner and turn on the heater to maximum.

-         Drive to the nearest service station while keeping an eye on the temperature gauge.
