In the future for picking a car with good gas mileage is going to be useful because the gas prices are already high and they will rise later on.

People are coming up with concept cars for the future that will do well over 50 miles to a gallon. It's better for our environment also. Cars with good gas mileage could be Honda civic, Toyota camry, Mercedes E320 CDI, Honda fit and other cars.

The Mercedes CDI sounds like it does horrible on gas mileage but it is a diesel car so it actually does 27 MPG in a city and 37 MPG on highways. The patrol and the diesel for the Mercedes has a big difference on miles per gallon, the patrol version does really bad on fuel it does the same as like a truck.

There are many cars with good miles per gallon, but you are probably going to be better off with diesel cars in the future because the cars that don't do good on miles per gallon, you will be at the gas station very often.

I know that diesel cars do cost more per gallon but you'll not go to the gas station as much maybe once every 4-5 days. For example the ford F-350 it only takes in diesel and you wont believe it does 24 miles per gallon on road and 29 miles per gallon on highway.
