SEO is a form of online marketing, search engine optimization (or search engine marketing) is the process of making a site and its content highly optimized for search engines.

It is good to know straight from the horse’s mouth about SEO especially it is from the No 1 search engine, Google, itself. Recently Google has come out with a starter guide for SEO. I take the opportunity to make a hard copy for myself so that I can refer to it from time to time.
There is a type of sitemap in HTML form which lists the pages of your site and is meant to help users find the information they need. Here we are talking about XML Sitemaps (with a capital S).

An organic search is a process by which Internet users find websites in the SERPs, (Search Engine Result Pages), as opposed to using pay-per-click advertisement listings, such as Google AdWords, displayed alongside the organic search results.
As many of us know, the most common way our content becomes indexed in a search engine is through the process of search engine crawling. How it works is simple - a search engine's crawler comes and visits our website every so often, captures some data and updates their search index with this newly captured information.
Writing and preparing content for the Web requires a different approach from writing and preparing content for print documents and publications. When writing for the Web, not only do you have to make it appealing and grammatically sound, you also need to focus on developing your content in a way that provides search engine optimization (SEO).
A common question that my clients always ask is, "How do I get on the first page of Google for all of my keywords?" My answer to them is one that they find difficult to accept at first, until I show them the right way to succeed in Google.
