There are, of course, many
supplements on the market that claim to help you lose fat. And some of
these do work, but still should not be the only thing you rely on. It
is more important to change your bad habits for good ones, otherwise
the fat will always come back.
With regard to diet, it is really your way of eating you need to
change. It is not about portion restrictions, which always sound like
you will be miserable. To lose fat and not have it come back is
relatively simple, if not easy, to put in practice. Eliminate all
processed foods from your diet.
Processed foods means any foods that did not come from nature in
that form. Just ask yourself if the food you are thinking of eating
actually came off the hoof, tree or vine in that form. If it did, it is
good to eat. For example, breads and pastas are processed while rice is
not.
Added sugars and fats should be avoided as much as possible, such
as those used in frying foods and in heavy sauces. If you follow these
guidelines, you do not need to count calories and units. It is much
more difficult to overeat when you are eating only whole foods.
A note about sweeteners, it is best to switch to honey or maple
syrup. You do not want to eat a lot of either, of course, but they are
not processed compared to sugar. When you feel the need for sweets,
start making the switch to fruit.
And you need to be eating whole fresh
fruit, not drinking juices. There is far more fruit in one glass of
juice than you would sit down and eat at one time. These excess simple
sugars will become fat stores in your body.
You must be sure that you get plenty of fresh filtered or bottled
water on a daily basis. You will be losing fat, and this will need to
be flushed out of your body. Toxic reactions can occur if you are not
drinking sufficient water.
The most difficult part of any exercise program is getting
started. This is especially true if you have a lot of excess weight
that makes it difficult to do much. Do not get discouraged, just start
out slow and small. Walking is something most people can do, at least
for a little bit. Start with ten minutes a day and work your way up
gradually to more, but6 do get started.
Keeping a diary of your exercise and food intake can be a great
asset to fat loss. If you are honest when you are making your notes, it
will keep you honest. No one likes to look back over the day before and
discover they cheated more times than they realized. Conversely, as you
start losing fat, looking back over the hard work you accomplished will
make you more motivated to continue.
Diet and exercise are likely to
always be the key healthy ways to Healthy Fat Loss. But at least the above diet
is one that is relatively simple and does not leave you feeling
unsatisfied after every meal. And, more importantly, you develop a
great habit that will improve every aspect of your health when you undergo Losing Fat.
