Each session of the boot camp is filled
with encouragement, reinforcement, and positive enthusiasm. Individuals
are provided peer partners with whom they often develop a close
relationship.
The coaches provide the knowledge and expertise that is
necessary to lose weight successfully and become healthy. They also
provide the tools that are needed to sculpt and tone one's body in a
way that will have a lasting effect.
The sessions are kept small so that coaches can provide one-on-one
attention for each participant. The camps are scheduled from four to
six weeks and provide a holistic exercise, fitness, and nutritional
program during this time. During exercise programs people receive many
options that can help a busy person to maintain their program when they
complete the camp session and return to their daily life.
Meeting with a Markham Boot Camp representative allows individuals an
opportunity to discuss their goals and objectives with a professional
who will help them to come up with a plan for success. Discussing diet
and exercise concerns and issues with the representative at this time
will allow a program plan to meet an individuals specific needs. The
representative will also assist with nutritional awareness and
assistance as needed.
Prior to starting the exercise program participants complete a series
of stretches. These stretching exercises are designed to help a person
gain flexibility and be able to perform the exercise routines without
being injured. Following an exercise session the group then completes a
series of yoga exercises that serve to relax the body and increase
flexibility in those areas that have been toned.
Exercises at the Markham Boot Camp have been researched and designed to
provide maximum effectiveness in a short amount of time. The exercises
increase the cardio as well as the metabolism. Individuals find that
they gain strength and flexibility. They are able to increase their
exercise regimen on a daily basis throughout camp and begin to feel
healthier than before.
The exercise regimen is changed on a monthly basis. Whether a person is
involved in the four-week program or the six-week program they will not
become bored with the program. It has been found that individuals who
do not get bored with an exercise regimen will keep exercising and will
continue to gain effective results.
The Markham Fitness Boot Camp is staffed by
